The company Winetober Fest uncorked fun last Saturday during its adults-only “no babies in carriages” Spring Winetober Fest event on Skippack Pike, across from Hotel Fiesole, in Skippack.

VIPs paid $30 for early admission and a collectible wine glass, while $25 general admission got you a disposable wine glass. All entrants received unlimited tastings of wine and liquor and were treated to live music, food trucks and shopping opportunities.

Attendees to the Fest were able to walk around the event at their leisure and sample wine from regional wineries.

The fest also featured backyard games, like giant Jenga and cornhole, and a photo booth.

There were more than 100 vendors at the event. Featured wineries included Aulenbach Wines, Benignas Creek Vineyard & Winery, Blue Mountain Vineyards & Cellars, Boyd’s Cardinal Hollow Winery, Cellar Beast Winehouse, and Doan Distillery.

All in all, there were 29 wineries or liquor vendors, 17 food vendors, and 47 shopping vendors.

According to its website, the purpose of the Fest is to “support local and new business and for guests to have a good time.”
