Montgomery Township invites you to a special Memorial Day weekend celebration, "Stars, Stripes, and Remembrance," on Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae, located at 1147 Kenas Rd.
This community event honors our nation's heroes with an evening filled with fun activities, live music, and a dazzling fireworks display at 8:30 p.m. Entry is free, and visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the festivities comfortably.
Event Highlights:
Opening Ceremony: National Anthem by local talents followed by a presentation of the color guard by the North Penn High School Jr. ROTC.
Kids Amusements: Engaging activities for children of all ages.
Live Music: Performances by youth bands from George's Music between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM, followed by Keith Garner Music from 7 PM to 8 PM.
Food Vendors: Enjoy a variety of local flavors from Kona Ice, Mystic Pizza, and Dog Bites Hot Dogs.
Beer Garden: Featuring selections from Tannery Run Brew Works, Conshohocken Brewing Company, and Troubles End Brewing.
Poppy Craft: Commemorative crafts highlighting the poppy, a symbol of remembrance.
Fireworks Display: A spectacular fireworks show will light up the sky at approximately 8:30 PM.
Parking: On-site event parking at William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae (1147 Kenas Road, North Wales, PA 19454) is available.
