A two-vehicle accident has blocked the intersection of Forty Foot and Allentown roads in Towamencin Tuesday morning and sent two people to an area hospital.

The accident involved Dodge van and a Kia SUV, which overturned onto its roof.

Per EMS dispatch, one woman in her 70s suffered a wrist injury and a man in his 60s suffered lacerations.

According to Montgomery County radio dispatch, one patient crawled out of the overturned car on her own. A male in his 60s was reported to have lacerations, per reports.

The accident involved Dodge van and a Kia SUV.

There is no entrapment.

Allentown Road is closed from Forty Foot Road to the shopping center entrance and Forty Foot Road is reduced to one lane in both directions.

Towamencin Vol. Fire Co., Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale and Fairmount Fire Police are assisting at the scene, along with Towamencin Township Police and Hatfield Fire Co.
