 June is not just the start of summer – it is Pride Month in Lansdale Borough.

The Ambler-based Montgomery County LGBT Business Council will host the Lansdale Pride Walk & Roll in the downtown borough on June 9 at noon, starting at Railroad Plaza. The first Lansdale Pride Walk was in 2016.

After the Walk & Roll, Montco LGBTBC invites the public to Pride in the Plaza, complete with music, food trucks, vendors and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The event runs until 3 p.m.

According to its website, the Montco LGBTBC was created by co-founders Richard Buttacavoli and James McDevitt as a venue for networking, social and business opportunities for LGBTQ+ business professionals and allies. Through education, training, professional development, and policy advocacy, the council ensures workplace environments are welcome to anyone and everyone.
