Application period open now for Hatfield Police Junior Police Academy

Hatfield Police is now accepting applications for precocious police officers.

The 2024 Junior Police Academy will take place June 20 at School Road Park in Hatfield Township from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Applications will close June 8. According to Hatfield Police Benevolent Association, returning applicants will be accepted after June 8, but only until a maximum of 50 participants is reached.

Get an application here. The completed forms can be dropped off at the Hatfield Police Department on School Road or emailing Officer Dan Butler at DButler@hatfield.org.

Applicants must be between the ages of nine and 15 by May 31 to be considered for the Hatfield Junior Police Academy.

The rain date for the Academy is June 27.
