This weekend, West Main Street will be closed for railroad crossing construction, according to Lansdale Borough Police and SEPTA.

From Friday at 9 a.m. to Monday, SEPTA will complete construction at the West Main location, closing the street from Green to Walnut streets. No through traffic allowed, per police.


Detour information was posted as follows:

Route 63/West Main Street will be open to local traffic only between West Orvilla Road and Green Street

Drivers are encouraged to detour around the construction by using West Orvilla Road, Cowpath Road, North Broad Street and East Main Street.
