A two-vehicle accident Sunday evening at the intersection of Knapp Road and Bell Run Boulevard in Montgomery Township sent one individual to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

At 5:56 p.m. Sunday, two vehicles, a Subaru Legacy and a black Honda SUV, collided at the intersection, with both vehicles sustaining heavy front end damage.

One person was treated by VMSC Emergency Medical Services personnel at the scene prior to transport.

Knapp Road was reduced to one lane as Montgomery Township Police worked to process the scene.

Both vehicles were towed and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
