According to its website, the family- and pet-friendly music festival “operates on good vibes and good neighbors, where everyone plays a part in the magic.” The event is rain or shine.
“Since we've had so many different places step up to host our great bands that have stuck with us we wanted a name that wasn't confined to just one place,” stated the event website. “Bonzer is an Australian term meaning excellent, remarkable, wonderful, or first class, the ‘oo’ is for fun because it's going to be a day of excellent, remarkable, wonderful, first-class fun.”
Law enforcement officers will be in attendance at the locations throughout the day.
There are rules for Bonzeroo:
No weapon possession of any kind
No unruly, disruptive or illegal behavior
Alcohol consumption is allowed legally and responsibly. Any VIP (Visually Impaired Person) will be asked to dispose of their alcohol.
Be a good neighbor and be considerate of properties and space.
Perkasie PorchFest was an annual walkable music festival that started in 2020 during Covid in Perkasie Borough. The concept: Neighbors opened up their front porches to become makeshift stages for performers. Each year, the festival grew larger in attendance, reaching upwards of 80 bands in Perkasie on one day.
Then, Perkasie Borough canceled the event this year for “safety concerns.”
