1 injured in 2-car crash at Walmart exit in Hilltown Monday afternoon

A two-car accident at the Walmart exit onto Bethlehem Pike in Hilltown Township sent one elderly woman to an area hospital for treatment of injuries, according to reports from the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle refused treatment by VMSC personnel, according to Montgomery County radio dispatch.

Bethlehem Pike has reduced traffic to one lane in either direction.

The accident occurred at 2:26 p.m. and involved a white Buick and a black Honda 4-door hatchback. The driver of the Buick is an elderly female, per reports from the scene, while the driver of the Honda is a middle-aged male.

Both vehicles sustained severe front-end damage and were towed from the scene, per reports.

VMSC Emergency Medical Services, Chal-Brit Regional Advanced Life Support, Hilltown Fire Co,, Hilltown Police and Hatfield Police are on scene.
