Welcome to Lansdale Borough's 2024 events season. This Friday kicks off a year full of big ideas and fresh features — starting with First Friday's new focus.

All your favorites and more return to a revamped location: along Madison Street and the Madison Parking Lot up to Wood Street, from 6 to 9 p.m.. The new configuration offers convenient access and a central situation for all the action, along with an expanded vendor area, an improved Kids Zone, and a super-sized beer garden with food vendors and live music.

The photo scavenger hunt returns (thanks to Lansdale Tavern for the first month's prize!), along with a new feature: Shop Lansdale and win!

The Discover Lansdale Passport Program will award a grand prize basket worth more than $200 at First Fridays starting in June. Just pick up your passport at the DL welcome table, then shop, dine and play at participating businesses all season long. Complete your passport and turn it in at the FF DL table to enter that day's drawing!

The season’s themes start with Geeking Out/Comic Books, in partnership with Main Street’s Comic Zen comic shop and Retroware/Classic Game Junkie. Come dressed for the event, and return to Main on Saturday, May 4, for the annual Free Comic Book Day!

This Friday's attractions also include:

  • AM Radio performing live on the Band Stage.
  • DJ Chris Evans spinning at Railroad Plaza.
  • Beer-garden vendors including Well Crafted Beer, Ten7 Brewing, Local Tap/Favorite Child Brewing and Simple Days Beer.
  • Food trucks including Beach Beans Coffee Co., Moshava, Meatwagon BBQ, Tuckedito, Tot Rod and Surf and Turf Truck.
  • Dessert trucks including Fiesta Churros, Funella's Funnel Cake, and Downtown Scoop ice cream.
  • Kids amusements including the Superman moon-bounce, an 18-foot slide and inflatable double axe throwing. Facepainting and balloon animals will be featured.
  • Plus about 36 vendor tables along Madison and Wood Streets.

Themes for the rest of the 2024 First Friday season:

  • June 7: Boardwalk; recalling those golden days down the shore.
  • July 5: Dog Days of Summer; beating the heat while honoring Man’s Best Friend.
  • August 2: '80s Night; don your platform shoes and glitter garb and dance, dance, dance.
  • September 6: Philly Sports; fly with us as football season commences.
  • October 4: Oktoberfest/Chili Cookoff; our annual tasty competition kicks off a weekend-long Oktoberfest celebration in the Borough culminating in Discover Lansdale’s amazing annual Zer0.5K and Oktoberfest Sunday, Oct. 6.
  • November 1: Zombie Walk; stagger down Main with hundreds of your fellow Undead.
