Lansdale Borough Police Department said Wednesday afternoon that the one-vehicle crash that occurred at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday on North Broad Street remains under investigation.
Officers from Lansdale Police responded to the Sunoco gas station on the 200 block of North Broad Street for a report of a one-vehicle crash, police said. Upon arrival, a blue 2020 BMW 550 was found with severe damage.
The investigation determined that the BMW was traveling north on North Broad Street and attempted to pass a car on the left, police said. Suddenly, the driver of the BMW lost control and crashed into a gas pump at 291 N. Broad St., investigators said.
The driver and passenger were not injured, according to reports. Police did not state if any charges are pending against the driver.
