Warrington Township Police Chief Dan Friel told North Penn Now Tuesday afternoon that the drivers of two vehicles that crashed in the County Line Road lane of Warrington Township Monday night at Route 202 were taken to area hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.
One individual aged 26 was taken to Abington Hospital for evaluation,
and the second driver, age 34, was taken to Doylestown Hospital for treatment
by Chal-Brit Regional EMS, Friel said.
Investigators said the driver of a Nissan Altima was eastbound on County Line Road, when the driver turned left onto northbound 202, in the path of a Mazda CX-5. There were two occupants in the Nissan and one in the Mazda, police said.
County Line Road and Route 202 were not closed, according to the chief, but rather traffic was diverted around the crash scene.
Warrington Township Police had the scene cleared in about 30 to 40 minutes, Friel said. Montgomery Township Police assisted at the scene.
