R5 Co-Lab has already provided a cozy, efficient and professional collaborative working space for individuals, nonprofits and businesses needing a space to collaborate, conduct business, and foster creativity for the past four years.
Now, adding to that comfortability, versatility, and accessibility, is its new, rentable multipurpose 1,000-square-foot R5 Annex, located at 5 N Cannon Avenue, Unit 201.
Rental starts at $70 per hour, with discounts for co-working members. A grand opening event is set for April 6.
The garage space annex provides everything for a business-casual atmosphere or a place with ample lighting and room to simply gather with your team. Two bright wooden desks that seat a total of eight separate the wide new 65-inch television from the cozier, more intimate corner lounge. This corner area is complete with a cushy brown couch that can fit 4-5 and three separate chairs surrounding a little table, all accented by a gray and white rug.
According to owner and co-founder Michael Smith, the expansion was needed to meet diverse needs of its clientele with a rentable room that can cater to a variety of events or activities.
"I'm excited about the new space,” said Smith in a press release. "I've had conversations with several community members who are already making plans to host gatherings in the Annex."
Smith said the R5 Annex offers versatility with its flexible space that can suit a number of occasions, from small parties to be turned into a fully-equipped natural light photo studio, with three different color photo backdrops.
In addition to the TV and lounge area, there is high-speed WiFi, whiteboards, and indoor/outdoor space.
Smith said the room is reconfigurable and adaptable to suit specific needs and requirements. R-5 Annex can be rented out for half-day or full-day events.
