Two Car Crash in Lower Salford Monday Afternoon Backs Up Sumneytown Pike

A two-car crash at the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Clemens Road in Lower Salford Township has caused a backup on Sumneytown Pike near the Henning's shopping center.
 
A dark-colored Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi and a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee each sustained serious front-end damage in the crash that occurred, according to Montgomery County Active Incidents, at 3:41 p.m.
 
Harleysville Area Emergency Medical Service responded to check on occupants, but no one was taken from the scene for treatment, per reports from the scene.
 
The turning lane into Henning's on Sumneytown Pike heading into Harleysville is closed at this time. 
 
Numerous parties believed to be the drivers and passengers remained on scene with police.
 
Harleysville Fire Co. and Lower Salford Township Police assisted at the scene.
