Telford Woman Takes $61,000 from Elderly Montgomery Township Man Via Stolen Debit Card, Police Say

A Telford woman who performed "extragenital” favors for an elderly Montgomery Township man is facing felony charges after hustling $61,000 from the man between June and October of last year.

Tyler Nicole Green, aka Destiny Dior, 32, of the 400 block of East Summit Street, has been issued a summons to answer for felony counts of identity theft, theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, forgery, and access device fraud, and a misdemeanor count of possession of an access device knowing it belongs to another person, court records show.

According to the criminal complaint filed by Montgomery Township Police on Feb. 14, the alleged male victim told police on Oct. 17, 2023 that $61,664 had been removed from his checking account via his debit card. The victim told police he befriended a woman, identified as Green, who he would pay for performing "extragenital activity" with him, police said.

He also stated he gave Green unaccompanied access to his house, according to the complaint.

The victim later found numerous purchases on his Citizen’s Bank debit card, which were payments made via CashApp to Tyler Green or Destiny Dior, police said. Investigators determined that Green used both names on her CashApp account, according to charging documents.

Transactions showed CashApp payments using the victim’s debit card paying Green from a "Khi Williams,” police said. The records showed Williams was paying Green, however police allege Williams is a display name for Green, and it appeared Green was using the name Williams to essentially pay herself with the debit card.

Police said Green also allegedly attempted to cash a check belonging to the victim for $10,000, but it was rejected by the bank.

Banking statements allegedly showed the debit card was used to make multiple purchases at a North Wales-based apparel company called S.T.R.O.N.G., but when police located a website for the company, they said it was operated by Green and lacked any functionality to make purchases. The report states investigators clicked the "Contact Us” link on the website, which sent an email to Green. After receiving the email, Green allegedly called police and she told them the business was no longer in operation and had not been for a year.

As a result, police said there should have been no way that the victim’s debit card could have been used for a legitimate purchase on the website.

Furthermore, police discovered that the S.T.R.O.N.G. website sold Lux Lux Fragrance, and tied it to debit card payments made directly to Luv Lux Fragrance, police allege. Between June 29, 2023 and July 19, 2023 Green allegedly used the debit card to make more than $12,000 in purchases from the S.T.R.O.N.G. website, along with two debit purchases made for $2,100 to Luv Lux Fragrance, police said.

Police said that between June 26, 2023 and October 13, 2023, there were 24 CashApp purchases made to either Green or Dior, with multiple purchases made in one day, for amounts as low as $300 to as much as $8,500.

Investigators described the victim as being vulnerable at the time he had met Green, citing the death of the victim's girlfriend of 30 years as well as medical issues. While the victim was hospitalized from Sept. 20, 2023 to Oct. 3, 2023, Green allegedly continued to pay herself with the debit card, police said.

According to court records, Green has previously been convicted on theft charges on four different occasions in Bucks County between 2016 and 2019. She was also found guilty of retail theft in Montgomery County in March 2022.

A preliminary hearing is set before Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy on April 30 at 10:30 a.m., per court records. Bail information is not available as Green's arraignment will occur at her hearing next month.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
