Area fire crews are at the scene of a two-alarm fire at the Village of Neshaminy Falls development in Montgomery Township.
Crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Stump Road at 5:38 a.m. for a report of a building fire. Dispatch notes indicate there were visible flames and heavy smoke coming from the development’s single-story clubhouse, which was confirmed by police upon arrival.
Crews initially worked to control the scene, however citing extensive fire, a second alarm was struck just before 6:30 a.m. to bring in more units to battle the blaze.
There are currently no reports of injuries.
Responding units include Montgomery Township Police, Fire Department of Montgomery Township, Colmar Fire Company, Hatfield Fire Company, Wissahickon Fire Company, Hilltown Fire Company, Fairmount Fire Company, Horsham Fire Company, Telford Fire Company, Towamencin Fire Company, Upper Gwynedd Fire Department, Worcester Fire Company, Skippack Fire Company, Fort Washington Fire Company, Harleysville Fire Company, and other area agencies.
The scene remains active at this time. Avoid the area.
