A woman was injured Friday morning after her vehicle struck a curb and overturned on Valley Forge Road in Lansdale Borough.
The crash occurred at 6:45 a.m. near the intersection with West Third Street. Dispatch notes indicate an older female driver was traveling in a gray Mazda SUV on North Valley Forge Road when she struck a curb and overturned in the roadway. Crews from Fairmount and Hatfield fire companies arrived at the scene, stabilized the vehicle, and successfully extricated the woman from the vehicle.
The woman was transported from the scene via ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
In addition to the fire companies, Lansdale Police were assisted at the scene by units from VMSC Emergency Medical Services.
