The engine bay of a white Chevrolet pickup truck was fully engulfed in flames around 4 p.m. Friday in Towamencin Township at the northbound Northeast Extension off-ramp, approaching Sumneytown Pike, per reports from the scene.
The driver is uninjured,and there are no emergency medical services units on scene, per reports.
Towamencin Township Vol. Fire Co. had the fire under control and extinguished within 20 minutes, per reports.
The northbound off-ramp is reduced to one lane and backed up onto the turnpike, per reports. Sumneytown Pike eastbound is reduced to one lane at present.
Pennsylvania State Police and Towamencin Township Police are on scene.
