At least one person was taken to the hospital by Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale Thursday afternoon, after a white Ford F-350 pickup crashed about 10 yards into the woods on Rittenhouse Road, across from Ridgewood Way in Towamencin, according to reports from the scene.
The 3 p.m. accident caused about a 45-minute delay in traffic, with Rittenhouse Road reduced to one lane in both directions.
The scene was cleared by Towamencin Township Police, per reports, whose officers and detectives declined to provide comment at the scene. There was a large presence of Towamencin Fire Police at the scene and surrounding roadways.
North Penn Now will reach out to Towamencin Police for an update.
