A Towamencin woman is free on bail and facing numerous felony counts of selling and distributing methamphetamine, after being accused by Pennsylvania State Police of conducting two sales with a confidential informant in February.
Paige Janelle Hammond, 41, of the 1500 block of Staley Circle, was charged Feb. 22 with three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, two felony counts each of criminal use of a communication facility and dealing in proceeds of unlawful activity, and three misdemeanor counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records.
Hammond was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Ed Levine, who initially set a preliminary hearing for March 6. However, the hearing has been continued to May 15 at 1 p.m. before Levine, per Montgomery County court records.
Hammond’s bail was set at $20,000 unsecured, and she posted bond same day, per court records.
Pennsylvania State Police said they received a report in February of a female selling narcotics in the county, and an investigation led them to Hammond. During the week of Feb. 2, police used a confidential informant (CI) to setup a meet with Hammond to allegedly buy methamphetamine, police said. Using pre-recorded money, the CI allegedly bought the narcotics from Hammond, and then during the week of Feb. 19, a second alleged controlled buy between the CI and Hammond occurred with marked money, police said.
Police executed a search warrant at Hammond’s home on Feb. 21, according to the complaint. The warrant also sought a black Lincoln MKZ, police said. A second search warrant was conducted at Move-In Self Storage on State Road in Telford, Bucks County, police said.
Hammond was found in the basement/makeshift bedroom and taken into custody, police said. A search of the basement allegedly uncovered the following:

Police said the Move In Self Storage unit was identified in the investigation as being used for storage of narcotics an paraphernalia, allegedly by Hammond. However, there was nothing found in the storage unit, according to charging documents.
