Lansdale Historical Society’s community program, "Abraham Lincoln Visits Philadelphia," has been rescheduled to March 12.
Local resident Michael Jesberger, a historical re-enactor, lecturer, and tour guide, will present an engaging program about Abraham Lincoln’s four visits to Philadelphia that left him moved spiritually and emotionally by each visit.
A native of Northeast Philadelphia, Michael Jesberger provides a view into history that won’t be found in many history books and shares historical details in a way that captivates his audiences.
"Abraham Lincoln Visits Philadelphia" will start at 7 p.m. at Lansdale Borough Hall, 1
Vine Street, Lansdale.
There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.
The program originally planned for March, "Lansdale Centennial Revisited," will be scheduled for a later date to be determined.
