The North Penn School District Educational Foundation is preparing for its annual Build-a-Bag school supply drive. Supplies collected during the drive will be provided to students in need before the start of the 2024-2025 school year in August.

Each year, the NPSD Educational Foundation works in partnership with schools and guidance counselors to help families and students in need get the supplies they need to be successful in school. By alleviating the financial burden that school supplies can bring, students are able to focus solely on their studies. Supplies are given to students discreetly by their guidance counselors prior to the start of school. The drive will end on August 8 to allow time for bag assembly and delivery prior to the start of the school year.

The Foundation is currently looking for community businesses and organizations to serve as drop-off locations for supplies. Participating groups would have a donation bin placed in their facility and would be listed as an official partner of NPSD’s Build-a-Bag Program. To sign up as a partner location, please fill out this form.

For those looking to make a donation to the program, the supply list can be found here. The Foundation also has registries listed on Target and Amazon that will ship directly to the Foundation to be included in backpacks.

This gift would not be possible without the support of the community who each year comes together to support all students in the North Penn School District.
