Pennridge Regional Police issued numerous citations to drivers involved in five accidents last week, including one with an injured motorcyclist.

On June 16, a motorcycle driver was injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment following a two-vehicle crash at Finland and South Sterner roads in West Rockhill Township, police said.

Upon arrival at the intersection, police found a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a GMC Canyon had collided at the intersection. Police said the motorcycle crossed the roadway and struck the GMC, and both drivers were cited as a result of the investigation.

On June 18, Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to Route 313 and Ridge Road in East Rockhill Township for a report of a two-vehicle crash.

Police said a Kia attempted to pass a Ford transit van, believing it was turning left, but it instead turned right, hitting the car. No one was injured, police said.

A one-vehicle crash was reported June 20 and investigated by Pennridge police in the area of Ridge and County Line roads, police said.

According to the report, a driver of a Ram 1500 pickup left the roadway after the driver attempted to pick up a cell phone. Police cited the driver for causing the crash, and there were minor injuries, police said.

On the same day, a two-vehicle accident was reported at Mountain View Drive and Clymer Road in East Rockhill Township, involving an Audi A4 and a Ram 3500 van, police said.

The driver of the Audi, police allege, struck the van in the rear as it was stopped near the intersection.

Police cited the driver of the Audi for following too closely and there were no injuries, police said.

On June 21, police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Cathill Road, where a Ford Explorer hit the side mirrors of a passing vehicle. Police said the driver of the other vehicle did not stop and the Explorer sustained minor damage.
