Montgomery Township celebrates SilverSneakers Instructor of the Year

Montgomery Township is proud to announce that our very own Vicki Souder has been awarded the prestigious SilverSneakers Instructor of the Year Award. This national recognition celebrates Vicki's dedication, hard work, and the positive impact she has had on our community.

SilverSneakers, a leading fitness program for older adults, honors instructors who exemplify excellence in fitness instruction, commitment to their participants, and the ability to inspire and motivate. Vicki Souder has demonstrated these qualities and more, making her a standout among the many talented instructors nationwide.

On Monday, program participants and Vicki’s family gathered at the Montgomery Township Community & Recreation Center to celebrate Vicki's remarkable achievement. The event was filled with excitement and support, highlighting the deep appreciation and respect we have for Vicki and her contributions. Residents shared stories of how Vicki's classes have improved their health, fostered friendships, and created a supportive and energetic environment for all participants.

One participant remarked, "Vicki is simply the best! She knows our names and genuinely cares about our well-being. Her classes are a highlight of my week, and I've made lifelong friends through her program."

Vicki's journey with SilverSneakers began over a decade ago, and since then, she has been a beacon of positivity and encouragement. Her innovative approach to fitness, coupled with her unwavering support for each participant, has made her classes a beloved part of many residents' daily routines.
