North Penn names new high school athletic director, assistant principal, and head of elementary special education

The North Penn School District Board of School Directors has filled several administrative positions.

At the June 4 work session meeting, Kyle Berger was appointed as the Athletic Director of North Penn High School.

Berger has been with the North Penn School District since 2006. He has served as director of student activities, communications and English teacher, Student Government Association advisor, and assistant wrestling coach.

Berger has also been employed by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) as a wrestling official and points tabulator, and by WNPV radio as a sports broadcaster, covering local high school and college sports. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami in Communication and American Studies and his Masters of Education in Secondary Education from Cabrini College. He also holds an Administrative Certification from Delaware Valley University. Kyle Berger is a graduate of then Class of 1999.

“I am honored and excited to continue our tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and community engagement at North Penn,” said Berger. “As an alum and a life-long resident of the North Penn School District, I look forward to leading our athletic community into a new era, fostering a dynamic and diverse culture while elevating our programs to new heights.”

Also at the June 4 session, Christine Capriotti was hired as assistant principal at North Penn High School, beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. Capriotti previously worked in the North Penn School District as the interim assistant principal of Penndale Middle School before moving to the Perkiomen Valley School District as assistant principal of Perkiomen Valley Middle School West.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education from La Salle University and her Masters in Special Education from Holy Family University. She also holds a Certificate in Educational Leadership from Delaware Valley University.

“I am thrilled to be rejoining the administrative team at North Penn High School,” said Capriotti. “Having previously worked here, I am eager to reconnect with my former colleagues and establish new relationships within the district. I am looking forward to collaborating with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.”

At the April 8 meeting, Allison Kuchler was appointed as the new director of elementary special education and student services. Kuchler began employment with NPSD in June 2024. She has previously worked in the Cheltenham School District as a supervisor of special education and as director of special education in the Central Bucks School District.

She received her Bachelor of Arts from La Salle University, along with her Master of Education from Arcadia University. She is currently working towards her Doctorate in Education from Gwynedd Mercy University with a focus on Educational Leadership in Special Education.

“I am so excited to join the North Penn School District community,” said Kuchler. “I hope to further enhance the trust and collaboration that leads to success for our students.”

The North Penn School District would like to wish Berger, Capriotti, and Kuchler good luck as they continue, return to, and begin employment with the North Penn School District.
