Volvo sustains severe damage in crash in Lansdale Monday afternoon, destroys 97-year-old fence

A dark-colored Volvo SUV has crashed at the intersection of Broad and East Main streets in Lansdale Monday afternoon. 

The vehicle crashed through the intersection, before coming to rest in the parking lot of Koehler's Jewelers, around 1:16 p.m. 

The crash destroyed the jeweler's original iron fence from 1927.

Lansdale Police are assisted at the scene by VMSC EMS.

There were no injuries in the accident.
