It was the 130th Commencement for the school.
Souderton Area School District ushered the Class of 2024 into the future Thursday night during its 130th Commencement ceremony.
The event was held outdoors in its stadium at 6 p.m.
Festivities began with a Prelude and Alma Mater sung by the high school band and orchestra, led by Adam Tucker. Principal Dr. Samual A. Varano Jr. welcomed the class with a “Class of 2024” introduction.
Following the processional and singing of The National Anthem, Student Council President Emma Potter welcomed her classmates to the last day of their high school careers.
Salutatorian Amanda Yang and Valedictorian Justin Stauffer spoke to their class during the respective speeches, before diplomas were awarded to the Class of 2024.
