Almac Group recently celebrated the company’s Souderton expansion project with a beam signing and “topping out” ceremony to mark the next phase of construction.
This expansion of Almac’s North American headquarters adds 115,000 square feet to the campus, increasing the global contract development and manufacturing organization’s clinical supply capacity in Souderton by 60%.
It represents the company’s largest project under the $93.5 million, 355 headcount growth investment in Pennsylvania announced in 2022.
General contracting of the expansion project is managed by CYMA Builders of Blue Bell, said an Almac Group press release.
“We were proud to celebrate the ongoing success of our expansion and partnership with CYMA Builders with a beam signing and ‘topping out’ ceremony to mark the next phase of construction,” commented Mark Rohlfing, vice president of operations for Almac.
“In particular, we were proud that our fourteen longest serving employees in Pennsylvania — representing the years we have been in operation in Souderton — represented us by signing. We look forward to our continued progress and what this represents for our future in meeting the growing demands of the pharmaceutical industry.”
