One person injured on Whites Road in Lansdale

A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a rear-end collision on Whites Road in Upper Gwynedd Township Tuesday evening and was taken to Jefferson Lansdale for treatment  

At 6:25 p.m., police responded to a report of an accident with injuries near the lower entrance of the Whites Road Park and Pool, involving a black Buick sedan, with major front end damage and fully-deployed airbags, and a white Subaru Outback, with minor rear end damage.

Whites Road was reduced to one lane of travel for a short time, as crews worked to clear the scene. The park and road was busy due to a Dueling Pianos concert in the park's amphitheater

It is unknown what caused the accident to occur at this time. The Buick was towed from the scene.

Upper Gwynedd Police were assisted by Lansdale Police, and VMSC Emergency Medical Services.
