Area emergency crews are tending to a two-vehicle accident at the intersections of Route 202 and County Line Road, in Montgomery Township, as a call came in around 9:20 p.m. on Friday, July 19. Traffic in the area is slowed at this time.

According to witnesses at the scene, a middle-aged female with a neck brace has been placed on a stretcher. A male sitting next to her is also in a neck brace. Both persons are sitting next to the car that is currently in the middle of the roadway with heavy damages. It is not yet confirmed if either will be transported.

The vehicle occupying the middle of the roadway appears to be an older model, white, four-door sedan. A second vehicle, a dark grey Toyota, has sustained front, passenger’s side quarter panel damage. The white vehicle has heavy front-end damages.

Traffic began moving slowly around 9:40 p.m. Those traveling on County Line Road toward Warrington cannot turn left onto Route 202. There is also no cross-traffic on Route 202 in that area. Travelers cannot continue into the intersection toward Limekiln Pike.

Traffic coming into the area is currently being rerouted as emergency crews attempt to use the southbound lanes to accommodate both north- and southbound travel.

Those attempting to travel via 202 to County Line can make a left or right turn at the intersection, but cannot continue on 202.

Currently responding at the scene are Chal-Brit Regional EMS, Warrington Township Police, Montgomery Township Police and fire police, and Warrington Township Fire Company.

Both vehicles are being towed from the scene. Avoid travel in the area.
