Lower Gwynedd Police respond to burglary call near Upper Gwynedd border

According to Lower Gwynedd Township Police Department, on July 16, at 2:31 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Tanglewood Drive in Lower Gwynedd Township, near the border with Upper Gwynedd Township, for a report of a burglary that had just been discovered. 

The residents were reportedly not home when the incident occurred, police said.

Police said that actor or actors entered a residence by breaking in a second-floor window located in the rear of the property. The window accessed a guest room in the home. The unknown person(s) then ransacked the main bedroom, taking an undetermined amount of jewelry and other items, police said.

The incident occurred sometime late morning or early afternoon on July 13.

“We encourage everyone to set their security alarms and check their security cameras regularly,” said Chief Paul Kenny in a release.
