The event will feature all-day gaming passes, live music, local food vendors and a cornhole tournament.
Local artist Sofia Gonzalez-Ortiz will unveil her “Be The Change” mural at Silverdale’s new gaming center, T6 Game Link, on Saturday, July 20.
The mural, part of a four-wall series, spans 10×28 feet in the main game room. Using the open doorway as a metaphor, Gonzalez-Ortiz designed and painted the mural with the goal of bringing vibrant and playful energy into the community’s gaming lounge, said a T6 Game Link press release.
“Being a gamer myself, I instantly felt inspired to create a mural that incorporates gaming elements, a saturated color scheme and the positive message ‘Be The Change,’” said Gonzalez-Ortiz, a Perkasie resident and graduate of Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication and the Pennridge School District.
The “Be The Change” mural unveiling will be held from noon to 8 p.m. during T6 Fest. The event will feature all-day gaming passes, live music, local food vendors and a cornhole tournament, said the release.
