  • Things To Do

Lansdale Parks and Recreation Department is reelin’ in the years.

Beginning Friday and going through Sunday, the department is celebrating the department’s 1976 founding, along with Parks and Recreation Month, with parties and celebrations at both White’s Road and Fourth Street pools.

On Friday, the department invites pool members and guests to celebrate the founding of the department in true 1970s fashion with a Disco Party at the Pools. The event features games, photo props, and a 1970s playlist all throughout the day.

Then, the department delves into the decades with Decades Day spirit days on Saturday at Fourth Street Pool and Sunday at White’s Road Pool. The department encourages leg warmers, plaid flannels, bobby socks, and bathing suits, obviously.
