 A four-door sedan was destroyed by a vehicle fire during the excessive heat Wednesday afternoon in Hilltown Township.

The fire was in the driveway of a home at 229 Church Road around 1 p.m., per reports from the scene.

There was no risk of extension into neighboring structures and no one was injured.

Perseverance Fire Co. of Souderton, Colmar Vol. Fire Co., Chalfont Fire Co., and Hilltown Township Vol. Fire Co. responded to and assisted at the scene.
