Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 183 incidents during the week of July 7 to July 13, 2024. A total of 52 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Noise Complaints: On July 7th and 9th, 2024, officers responded to the White Horse Bar for a report of loud music coming from an apartment on the first floor. A resident in an adjacent apartment reported that the music was too loud at an unreasonable time. The music was turned down at the request of the police. This is an ongoing issue.
Criminal Mischief: On July 9th, 2024, Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to a radio tower located in the 500 block of Tower Road for a report of a security fence that was cut. Upon arrival it was determined that the damage to the fence was estimated to be in the amount of $1100. It is unknown when the incident occurred, due to a lack of documentation as to when staff is on scene at the tower.
Disorderly Conduct: Officers responded to Penn Foundation, 807 Lawn Ave., on July 9th for a fight involving residents there for treatment. Upon arrival it was determined that a fight occurred following an argument about the possibility of one resident stealing cigarettes from another. There were no injuries as a result of the altercation and neither of the parties involved were not interested in filing criminal charges.
Theft: Police were dispatched to Contemporary Gardens, 401 E. Callowhill Road, on July 11th, 2024, for report of stolen signs from the property. Upon investigation it was determined that numerous signs that were used to display items for sale and also possibly a snowblower was stolen.
ARRESTS INCIDENTS
Simple Assault Arrest: Garrison Blake Andrefsky, 66 of West Rockhill, was arrested following a domestic incident at his residence located in the 1700 block of Tabor Road. During the course of the incident Mr. Andrefsky grabbed an officer on scene and caused an injury to their wrist. The officer received medical attention and was released from the hospital. A criminal arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Andrefsky, and a court date will be scheduled once he is taken into custody.
PFA Violation: Ryan Lopez, 39 of Quakertown, was arrested following a domestic incident at his residence in the 2100 block of Buck Run Road. Mr. Lopez had been arguing with his brother at the residence which resulted in police responding to the home. Upon investigation it was found that a court protection from abuse order was issued prohibiting Lopez from the home. He was arraigned by Judge Falcone and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
July 11th, 2024: The Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to Ridge Road in the area of Daniels Road for a two-vehicle traffic accident. Upon arrival officers found a Jeep and a Honda CRV had collided in the roadway. After a short investigation it was determined that the Jeep had a tire failure that forced the vehicle into the oncoming lane, resulting in a traffic crash. Minor injuries were reported.
