Pennbrook Middle School students in the Technology Student Association (TSA) competed in the national conference held in Orlando, FL, June 26-30, 2024. Three Pennbrook students competed against over 7,000 middle and high school students from across the country.
TSA is a student organization focused on career readiness and technical exploration. TSA fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design and engineering. Students in middle and high school have the opportunity to apply and integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events, and related programs.
The Pennbrook team is led by advisor Diana Rickert, Pennbrook Middle School technology and engineering education teacher. The team competed in Biotechnology, Career Prep, Junior Solar Sprint, Mechanical Engineering, Problem Solving, Promotional Marketing, Website Design, Cybersecurity, and Off the Grid.
