Each year, the NPSD Educational Foundation works in partnership with schools and guidance counselors to help families and students in need get the supplies they need to be successful in school.
The North Penn School District Educational Foundation is currently holding its annual Build-a-Bag school supply drive in preparation for the 2024-2025 school year. Supplies collected during the drive will be provided before the start of school in August.
Each year, the NPSD Educational Foundation works in partnership with schools and guidance counselors to help families and students in need get the supplies they need to be successful in school. By alleviating the financial burden that school supplies can bring, students are able to focus solely on their studies. Supplies are given to students discreetly by their guidance counselors prior to the start of school. The drive will end on August 8 to allow time for bag assembly and delivery prior to the start of the school year.
Individuals interested in donating to the drive can do so in several ways. The NPSD Educational Foundation has created registries with Target and Amazon where those wishing to donate can have their items shipped directly to the district. For those wishing to shop online in other places, items can be shipped to 401 E Hancock Street, Lansdale, PA 19446 (attn. Build-a-Bag).
The NPSD Educational Foundation has also partnered with several community businesses and organizations serving as drop-off locations for supplies.

Since 2018, the NPSD Educational Foundation Build-a-Bag program has provided backpacks and supplies to hundreds of children within the North Penn School District. This gift would not be possible without the support of the community who each year comes together to support all students in the North Penn School District.
