 A bicyclist was injured in a traffic accident in Perkasie Borough June 26 and taken to Grand View Hospital by VMSC EMS, police announced Wednesday.

Perkasie Borough Police said the accident was reported at North 6th and West Callowhill streets at 1:58 p.m.

According to authorities, the motorized bicycle rider failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the passenger side of a Dodge Ram pickup truck that was traveling through the intersection.

The Ram sustained minor damage in the crash, police said.
