Motorized cycle rider injured in Perkasie two-vehicle crash

The accident occurred June 26 and was reported by police July 3.

A bicyclist was injured in a traffic accident in Perkasie Borough June 26 and taken to Grand View Hospital by VMSC EMS, police announced Wednesday.

Perkasie Borough Police said the accident was reported at North 6^th and West Callowhill streets at 1:58 p.m.

According to authorities, the motorized bicycle rider failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the passenger side of a Dodge Ram pickup truck that was traveling through the intersection.

The Ram sustained minor damage in the crash, police said.
