Intersection closed in all directions after two-vehicle crash

One Towamencin traffic collision, at Allentown and Derstine/Fretz roads this July 4 has the entire intersection closed down as emergency crews assist the two vehicles’ occupants involved.

Two cars, a dark grey Infiniti and a white, Volkswagen Jetta have collided. Two cars are being towed from the scene. Traffic in all directions is closed. There was heavy front-end damage to the Jetta, while the grey Infiniti appeared to be damaged on the passengers’ side.


Towamencin Township Police Department, the Volunteer Medical Service Corps. (VMSC) of Lansdale, and Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company all responded to the accident.


One person was confirmed as being transported from the scene for medical care.
