A time-honored annual fire company tradition in Perkasie wrapped up its FUN-draising event Saturday night in Lenape Park.

The free parking Perkasie Fire Company Carnival opened Tuesday, for five days of rides, food and games for the family. Proceeds benefitted the all-volunteer fire company. Gates opened nightly at 6, except Saturday’s gate at 5 p.m.

Bartlebaugh Amusements brought classic and thrilling rides for adventure seekers. Fresh funnel cake floated in the air and colorful cotton candy was eaten here and there. Tantalizing cooking from the fire company food tent brought the lines, as did the games of chance, offering prizes.

Businesses also offered up wares for raffle items.

Lenape Park is on Constitution Avenue, across from Landis Supermarket.

Chief sponsor of the event was SERVPRO of Upper Bucks.
