VMSC Named Primary Provider of Emergency Medical Services for Salford Township

VMSC Emergency Medical Services (VMSC), headquartered in Hatfield, continues its growth in the Indian Valley.

During their Jan. 17 municipal meeting, the Salford Township Board of Supervisors passed Resolution 2024-1898 naming VMSC as the primary provider of emergency medical services within the township. The VMSC Board of Directors ratified that resolution at their January meeting.

"We are honored by the recognition from the Salford Township Board of Supervisors”, said Shane Wheeler, VMSC’s Chief Executive Officer. "VMSC has a long-standing history of dedicated emergency medical service throughout our communities and looks forward to strengthening that service throughout Salford Township.”

VMSC, established in 1933 by Dr. Frank Boston, provides emergency medical care and transportation to more than 150,000 residents over their 65+ mile coverage area throughout the North Penn and Indian Valley communities.
