North Penn area residents and commuters will celebrate the grand opening of a new Krispy Kreme® shop in Montgomeryville when the Hot Light turns on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
The new shop at 1281 Knapp Road in Montgomery Square will feature Krispy Kreme’s iconic Hot Light, signaling fresh, hot Original Glazed® doughnuts are being made when switched on, as well as the brand’s classic menu of beloved doughnut varieties available all day. The shop will also serve special limited time offers for seasonal moments, including four all-new, heart‑shaped Valentine’s Day doughnuts in a delightful custom "Dough-Notes” dozens box — perfect for sharing with loved ones.
Throughout grand opening week, Krispy Kreme will randomly award 10 dozen lucky guests – 120 people – a Celebration Ticket worth a dozen free Original Glazed doughnuts every month for a year.
"Our amazing North Wales shop will treat residents and commuters to the world’s most delicious doughnuts,” said Lisa Hufford, Krispy Kreme District Manager. "It’s special for Krispy Kreme to return to North Wales and we look forward to serving the community and treating everyone to the most awesome doughnut experience imaginable.”
The 4,073-square-foot shop is expected to employ approximately 80 Krispy Kreme team members and will be open seven days a week: Sunday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Guests can purchase doughnuts via in-shop takeout, drive-thru or by ordering doughnuts online or via the Krispy Kreme app for pick-up or delivery.
Later this year, the new shop will make Krispy Kreme even more accessible to residents by delivering fresh doughnuts daily to select grocery and convenience stores in the North Wales area.

You Color My World — Heart-shaped doughnut filled with cake batter Kreme™ filling, dipped in red colored icing and rainbow heart blended sprinkles.
I Love You A Choco-Lot — Heart-shaped doughnut filled with chocolate Kreme™ filling, dipped in chocolate icing and piped with a rose.
You’re Berry Sweet — Heart-shaped doughnut filled with white Kreme™ filling, dipped in strawberry icing and sprinkles.
Without You I’d Crumble — Heart-shaped doughnut filled with cookie dough Kreme™ filling, dipped in chocolate icing and chocolate chip cookie crumble.
The Dough-Notes dozens box includes space for a handwritten note from giver to receiver as well as notes from Krispy Kreme team members around the world.
