Lansdale Man Sentenced to Prison for Trafficking Methamphetamine

A Lansdale methamphetamine dealer is headed to state prison for 2 to 6 years after pleading guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver the drug, stemming from an arrest in February 2023,  according to The Reporter.

Joseph Anthony Termine Sr., 47, of the 600 block of East Main Street, was sentenced this week by Judge Thomas C. Branca, following a plea agreement reached between Termine and prosecutors, per the report. However, Termine will get credit for time served, since he has been in jail awaiting court since Feb. 21, 2023.

An investigation of Termine began in January 2023, after four confidential informants told police of Termine’s drug trafficking activities in the county, police said. Termine possessed up to a quarter pound of meth and sold it in Norristown, police said.

In February 2023, an undercover police officer contacted Termine and had multiple conversations regarding selling methamphetamine to the undercover officer, per the report. Termine agreed to sell one ounce of methamphetamine for $350 in Norristown, per the report.

During the meeting, Termine handed the undercover officer a potato chip bag that had a clear, knotted bag of an ounce of methamphetamine in it, per the report.
