Crews Respond to Residential Fire in Montgomery Township Tuesday Night

A home in Montgomery Township was damaged Tuesday night following a fire along the 100 block of Addison Lane.

Area fire companies were dispatched to the scene at 7:38 p.m. on Jan. 16 for a report of a residential building fire. Sources at the scene said the neighborhood was filled with smoke, and arriving crews located a fire in a two-story attached garage.

The fire was quickly placed under control, and no injuries were reported. It’s currently unclear what caused the blaze.

The Fire Department of Montgomery Township was assisted at the scene by units from North Penn, Towamencin, Chalfont, Colmar, and Fairmount fire companies, as well as VMSC Emergency Medical Services and Montgomery Township Police.
