Photos: Crews Respond to Garage Fire in Lansdale Friday Night

A detached garage was badly damaged Friday evening following a fire in Lansdale Borough.

First responders were dispatched to the 100 block of Penn Street at 7:44 p.m. on Jan. 12 for a report of a building fire. Arriving crews encountered a fully-involve blaze in a detached garage behind the home.

Firefighters quickly placed the fire under control, preventing the blaze from extending to the nearby homes. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fairmount Fire Company was assisted at the scene by units from Hatfield Fire Company, Upper Gwynedd and Montgomery Township fire departments, and the Lansdale Borough Police Department.
