Area fire companies were dispatched to Hatfield Township Tuesday morning to deal with a vehicle fire on Cowpath Road.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, first responders were dispatched to the intersection of Cowpath and Lenhart roads just before 9 a.m. for a report of a vehicle fire. Arriving crews encountered a fully-engulphed vehicle in the intersection, and quickly extinguished the blaze.
It’s unclear what precipitated the fire at this time. No injuries were reported.
Hatfield Police were assisted at the scene by units from Colmar Fire Company and the Fire Department of Montgomery Township.
The scene has since been cleared.
