A two-vehicle crash closed a portion of Cowpath Road in Montgomery Township Thursday afternoon.
First responders were dispatched to the 300 block of Cowpath Road at 12:43 p.m. on Jan. 4 for a report of a multi-vehicle crash. Arriving police found a white Volkswagen Jetta and a black Nissan SUV off the roadway, with the Volkswagen sustaining significant front-end damage and the Nissan missing it’s rear passenger-side wheel as a result of the crash.
Dispatch indicated at least one person was injured in the crash, however it’s unclear if they were treated at the scene or transported via ambulance.
Cowpath Road was reduced to one lane between Line Street and Lansdale Avenue due to the crash, as police worked to process and clear the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
