Two Suspects Arrested in Armed Home Invasion in Hilltown

Two men have been charged in connection with an armed home invasion that occurred on Reliance Place in Hilltown Township involving three men claiming to be with the sheriff’s department.

Zbigniew Still, 20, of Philadelphia, and Jarrett Fort, 18, of Glenside, have been charged with felony counts of robbery, burglary, kidnapping, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property, in connection with the May 25, 2023 incident. Court records show Still is free after posting 10% of $500,000 cash bail on Dec. 26, and Fort remains in custody at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $750,000 cash bail.

Fort, who was arraigned on Dec. 8, was initially held without bail with a note from the arraigning judge stating that he was a danger to the community. However, the docket no longer reflects that note — it does still show "bail denied” in one field — and shows bail was set to the current level on Dec. 22.

Investigators said Still, Fort, and an unidentified male arrived at the home in the Green Meadows Community at 11:25 a.m. and falsely identified themselves as the sheriff’s department with a warrant. Upon entering the home, the three men held the victim at gunpoint, bound their hands behind their back, and made them lay facedown on the floor, according to charging documents.

The three men then ransacked the home, stealing two firearms and an undisclosed amount of cash, police said, before fleeing the area in a white Ford Explorer. Following the incident, investigators told North Penn Now that the homeowner — who was not harmed in the incident — was specifically targeted and the home invasion was not a random act.

The third suspect is described by police as being either Black or Hispanic. Surveillance photos can be seen here.

In addition to the felony charges, Still and Fort are also charged with misdemeanor counts of simple assault, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment, and impersonating a public servant. Both men have preliminary hearings on Feb. 20 in front of Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage.

The investigation remains open as police attempt to identify the third suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective James Towhey at 215-453-6000 ext. 208 or via email at [email protected]. Tips can also be submitted anonymously here.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
