Lower Salford Police Investigating Theft of Purse from Vehicle, Remind Residents to Lock Vehicles

Lower Salford Police are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for a theft occurred in the township Tuesday morning.

Investigators said the suspect, who was driving a gray Nissan Rogue, stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle at 8:20 a.m. on Jan. 2. The suspect then fled the scene in the Nissan, and later attempted to use a credit card from the purse at the Walmart in Wyncote, police said.

Police are reminding residents to lock the doors to their vehicles. Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to contact the Lower Salford Township Police Department at 215-256-9500.
