6 businesses, cashiers cited for selling tobacco products to minors, police say

Central Bucks Regional Police Department announced Wednesday that six citations were issued to cashiers and the business owner for allegedly selling nicotine products to underage buyers.

Police said the enforcement was part of a compliance check in conjunction with the Council of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Citations were issued on Nov. 1 to the following:

  • Exxon, 539 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough and Rohitdeep Singh, 19, of Perkasie
  • Chal-Brit Beverages, 214 E. Butler Ave., Chalfont Borough and Patel Samarth, 24, of Chalfont
  • Country Food Market, 203 W. State St., Doylestown Borough and Amit Patel, 64, of Chalfont
  • Smoke Shack, 152 W. State St., Doylestown Borough and Matthew Malky, 26, of Philadelphia
  • Shell, 194 W. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough and Smit Parmar V., 26, of Plainview, NY
  • 7-Eleven, 495 East St., Doylestown Borough and Bramillan Sureha, 28, of Doylestown, PA.
